Thanks for visiting our website!  This is my first year as an academic interventionist at Discovery and Endeavour Elementary, and I am looking forward to building relationships with our amazing students and families. This is my seventh year in the Issaquah School District, previously having taught both first and fifth grade at Issaquah Valley Elementary. I have loved getting to help grow readers and mathematicians, and am looking forward to partnering with you.

 

I have a BA in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University and a MEd in Teacher Leadership from Seattle Pacific University as well as my Reading Endorsement and National Board Certification in Early-Middle Childhood Literacy.

My husband and I are both teachers in the district.  Mr. Clark teaches 4th and 5th grade in the Science Tech program at Clark Elementary!

The first time I stepped foot in Washington was when we moved here from Michigan for our teaching jobs!  We have absolutely fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest and are happy to call it our home.

I am originally from Pennsylvania, about an hour east of Pittsburgh.  Yes, there will be a Terrible Towel in our classroom!

 

Below is our dog Harley.  We rescued her two years ago and now its hard to remember life without her!

We had our first baby in November of 2020.  You will see lots of pictures and hear lots of stories about Remy, who will turn two this year!!
